ABOUT THE COMMUNITY:

Turtleford is an active, full-service community.  Population 500.  It is located 90km NW of North Battleford.  Many will say it hosts the best country fair in Western Canada.  Turtleford is within 20 miles of 2 popular lakes and less than an hour's drive of 2 Provincial Parks.  Excellent hunting and fishing are very near by.  Facilities and services provided by the community include an arena, curling rink, community centre, hospital, K-12 school, RCMP detachment and a full line of service businesses.  The area is host to several oil wells.
